Namibia becomes third African country without a national airline

Namibia will become the third African country without a national flag carrier, following Government’s decision to liquidate Air Namibia. Zambia Airways went out of business and ceased operations in 1994, due to mounting debt and losses as the reason for liquidation.

Group urges NCAA to probe Qatar Airline extortion of Nigerians via stop-over programme

Leadership Entrepreneurship and Advocacy Network, on Tuesday, urged the National Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to investigate alleged Qatar Airlines extortion of Nigerians through its stop-over programme.
